I took my three behind-the-wheel training courses in preparation for the DMV test here and felt very confident for the test. I would recommend Safeway to anyone looking for patient instructors who are willing to go the extra mile (literally) to help you become as prepared as possible for the test.

Thanks to wonderful instructors at Safeway Driving school, I was able to pass the test on my first try yesterday. Being in my late 30’s, it was not easy to learn how to drive for the first time in my life. I was really scared to drive on the road. But all the four instructors that I had a lesson with, especially Audrey, were very patient and helped me overcome the fear of driving, learn the skills to pass the test, build confidence and ultimately become a good driver. ~ Yoro

I’m going to start off by saying how incredibly nice everyone who works here is. I took three driving classes with two different instructors before my actual driving exam and I was not disappointed. The woman who set up my appointments over the phone made sure the dates/times were to my liking even though I had set them up very last minute. She was so nice and showed no signs of annoyance towards me even though it was probably a hassle for her to do. I appreciated that! I forgot the name of my first driving instructor but she was the most helpful, cheerful, and patient woman I have ever encountered. She was so calm and collected throughout the drive that I felt as if I were driving with an old friend. She was helpful in correcting any mistakes I made and overall the experience helped me a lot. James Hatfield was my second driving instructor for my remaining two classes and I encourage anyone thinking about taking classes here to take them with him. He was extremely patient with me and thanks to his advice/guidance I successfully passed my driving test the next morning. I had doubts about showing up to my driving exam because I felt as if I needed more practice but he went over everything I was insecure about. His instructions on what to do were super clear and he was just understanding in general. He genuinely believed I would pass my exam which convinced me that I had a chance at passing it. (In which I did, yay!) I seriously recommend this driving school to anyone out there learning how to drive.

Holly is an amazing instructor and person!!
I had failed the test before because I’m a very anxious person, she was great and super calm, she even had an essential oil that she sprayed to help me to relax. All her driving instructions and tips were great, and helped me to pass the test. The people in the front desk were also very helpful scheduling my appointment. Nothing bad to say.. Great service!!

Highly recommend. They work hard to make sure you pass. I failed my first test and the manager Ash was so helpful and encouraging. He quickly scheduled me a new test and drivers training, he really cared that I passed me test. amazing experience.

Update: my son had 3 different instructors for his 3 lessons and all were excellent. He passed his test with only 2 points off! WOW. Thank you Safeway!

Great driving school, my son had his first lesson with William and the feedback he gave me was right on. All the staff are very helpful at Safeway from the scheduling of appointments to questions on getting the online course completed prior to his permit test taken. This company is 5 star rated for a reason – they are the BEST! Read less

I would definitely recommend this driving school for anyone looking for an easygoing and sure way to get their license! Getting an appointment for the 2hr dmv test was super fast and easy. The price for the 2hr dmv test was $130 and it was definitely worth it! No need to worry about having all the paperwork (all you need is your permit), their car was way smoother/easier to drive than any car I’ve ever driven, you get must have advice/tips to pass your test, and you get to go through what could be the routes! The instructor, Ash, was very calming and overall a great instructor, showing the best routes possible to prepare you for your test. [I want to emphasize the calmness and easiness with this school because nerves were definitely my main problem when taking the driving test.] Both Ash and Saffana were very helpful and encouraging. I can’t emphasize how much I recommend this driving school!
